Mason High School once again had an excellent showing at the State Tennis Tournament in San Antonio on May 20-21st. It was an all Mason final in the boy’s doubles, girl’s doubles, and mixed doubles and we also had one entry in the girl’s singles finale. After all was said and done, Mason players brought home four State Championships and three State Runner-up medals. In boy’s doubles, brothers Matthew and Bailan Kerr bested brothers Ty and Tate Spencer to earn the gold.

The Mason High School girls varsity golf team had a great outing on May 11-12. The Cowgirls placed second at the UIL 2A Girls State Golf Tournament held at Legends Golf Course down in Kingsland. As a team under head coach Aaron Faith, the Cowgirls were the runner-up with a total score of 597.
The Mason High School varsity baseball team continued its exciting 2021 postseason run this past weekend as the Punchers defeated Premont High School in a best-of-three series to win an area championship. The Mason One Act Play company performed at the State UIL OAP Contest on April 28 in Seguin. After the eighth and final show, the group was treated to a glorious awards banquet, compliments of supportive, loving parents and friends. The Mason High School varsity softball team had its superb 2021 season come to an end in the 2A bi-district playoffs on Friday, April 30 as the Cowgirls were edged 7-6 by Bremond High School in a back-and-forth contest. The Cowgirls got on the board in the top of the first inning on a sacrifice bunt by outfielder Aunnecy Elliott that scored fellow outfielder Kamryn Loeffler from third base to make it 1-0 early.
