Cowgirls Softball Suffers Heartbreaking Loss in Bi-District Playoffs
The Mason High School varsity softball team had its superb 2021 season come to an end in the 2A bi-district playoffs on Friday, April 30 as the Cowgirls were edged 7-6 by Bremond High School in a back-and-forth contest. The Cowgirls got on the board in the top of the first inning on a sacrifice bunt by outfielder Aunnecy Elliott that scored fellow outfielder Kamryn Loeffler from third base to make it 1-0 early.
