The Lady Panthers lost to the Johnson City Eagles 30-42 on Tuesday, November 24 at the LBJ gym. Leading scorer for Blanco was Kendall Brock with 15 points. Andrea Calzoncit made 6 points with Gracie Edmondson adding 5. Madison Kneese scored 3 and Kenzie Warner made 1 point. The junior varsity posted a strong 48-27 win over the Eagles.
Bret Leigh Nance, Blanco High School senior, signed her National Letter of Intent to run track and cross country at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. After allowing Van Vleck to be the first opponent to score on the Panthers in 5 weeks and the first to take an early lead, Blanco settled down and went on to defeat the Leopards 18-7 to claim the Bi-District Championship and advance to face the Taft Greyhounds in the Area round of the play-offs.

The Blanco Panthers made quick work of the Natalia Mustangs this past Friday to close out a perfect 10 and 0 regular season with a 41-0 win at Natalia. The Panthers picked up over 350 yards in total offense, while the defense posted is fourth consecutive shut-out in district play.

This past Monday, Blanco High School hosted the Hill District FFA Leadership Development Events. 14 schools from across the Hill Country were represented by more than 300 students with 48 of those being from the Blanco FFA Chapter.
Overall, Blanco won 1st place in 8 different events while also placing 2nd in two other events as all 10 of these teams will be advancing to the Area VII FFA LDE's next Wednesday.
The Blanco Youth Freshman consisting of 1st and 2nd graders and the Blanco JV consisting of 3rd and 4th graders steamrolled through the Hill Country Youth Football League both undefeated at 5-0 in Division 2 play. The freshman won their semifinal playoff game vs Kingsland by a score of 39-0 and the JV won their semifinal game against Lago Vista by a score of 14-6.
The Blanco Lady Panther volleyball team won their Bi-District playoff game against the Natalia Lady Mustangs, 3-2, on Tuesday, November 3 at the Luling High School gym. Set scores for the match were 19-25, 25-18, 20-25, 25-19, and 15-10. Malyn Valliant fired in 15 kills, followed closely by Kendall Brock with 13 kills.
On Thursday night November 5, the Blanco Panther junior varsity football team went north to take on Liberty Hill after a cancellation from the district rivals, Natalia. Liberty Hill is a 4A-DI team and the Panthers would have their work cut out for them.
Blanco kicked off to start the game as Liberty Hill waited on the 26-yard line.
