The Ironman Volleyball game, a Project Graduation event, was played Monday, Feb. 1.
The tradition pits the senior class boys against the junior class boys in a competitive, but fun game, held to raise funds for the Project Graduation celebration. The Project Graduation celebration is an alcohol-free, drug-free lock-in event held to give graduates a safe, fun place to be following the graduation ceremony in May.
The senior boys won the match with set scores 25-22, 25-27 and 99-7.
Results of the 2021 Blanco County Youth Exhibit Hall event were released recently, with 46 4-H, FFA & FCCLA members exhibiting 307 entries.
The Junior Sweepstakes Winner was Mariel Steele of Hill Country Spurs 4-H Club. The Senior Sweepstakes Winner was Kinley Felps of the Blanco FFA Chapter.

The Blanco boys basketball team routed the Ingram Warriors by a 99-37 clip on Friday to keep atop the district standings.
The Panthers are currently a 17-1 overall and a 6-0 in District 25-3A games.
Blanco rolled through the first quarter, scoring 25 points to Ingram’s seven. The Panthers continued pouring in the points in the second quarter, sinking 30, while holding the Warriors to 13 for a commanding 55-20 halftime lead.
The Blanco girls basketball team rolled past the Ingram Lady Warriors 68-14 on Friday. The Lady Panthers are 15-5 on the season and 5-1 in District 25-3A games.
Blanco led early, 8-3, at the 4:02 mark of the first quarter. By the end of the quarter, the Lady Panthers expanded their lead to 16-4.

On a road trip to Llano Tuesday, Jan. 19, the Panthers ran away with a 73-32 victory over the Yellow Jackets. Blanco outscored the Comfort Bobcats, 80-55, Friday, Jan.

The Blanco boys basketball team jumped out to a 2-0 District 25-3A record last week with wins over Ingram and Lago Vista. The Panthers rolled past the Warriors, 85-44, on Jan. 12, and earned a 90-69 win against the Vikings last Friday. Blanco improved to 13-1 overall with the pair of victories.
Against the Warriors, the Panthers built a seven-point lead, 19-12, in the first quarter.
