Panther powerlifters take second in opener

The Blanco Panthers had an amazing evening Thursday, Jan. 14 in San Antonio lifting at the Texas Strength Systems gym. The team finished second and with nine of the 10 athletes placing in their weight class. Daniel Jaimes led the way, finishing first in the 275 pound class, with his 500 pound squat helping him achieve a total of 1180 pounds. Jackson Cress finished second, totaling 1095 pounds, and Cole Tharp placed second in his weight class. Deonte Hector, Luke Johnson and Joe Lopez ...
