Martha Jo Laumer passed away Feb. 24, 2021 at her home in Blanco. Born in North Dakota in 1959 to Bobbie Jo Smith and Evelyn Faye Chapman Smith, Martha was 61 years of age. She is preceded in death by both of her parents.

Cade Thomas Goodwin, 34, of Brownwood, passed away Friday Feb. 19, 2021. A Celebration of Cade’s life service will be held at 10 AM, March 6, 2021 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel, 303 Early Blvd., Early, Texas.
Cade was born May 5, 1986 at Brownwood Regional Hospital in Brownwood, Texas to Jesse and Nina Goodwin.
On Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, Ruby Pearl Barnard, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, peacefully went to be with the Lord at the age of 88.
One of eight children, Ruby was born in Lanesville, Illinois, to Delmar and Pearl (Castleman) Rogers.
She is survived by one brother, Delmar Rogers; her four children, Pamela Mandel and husband Richard, Michael Kitchen and wife Jennifer, Howard Kitchen and wife Debbie, and Diane Kitchen, her devoted caretaker for the past six years.
Lois Darlene Kiernan, 85, previously of Blanco, died Jan. 22, 2021. Darlene was born on June 28, 1935 in Denver, Colorado. She was the youngest daughter of Ted and Bertie Leverett.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry; two sisters and one brother. She is survived by one brother, Willard Leverett, and her daughter, Dena Jones and husband Steve.
Donald Dale Linder entered the gates of heaven on Jan. 29, 2021, surrounded by those that loved him most. He was born in Austin, Texas on Jan. 14, 1944 to parents Dale and Isabelle Linder. He was a loving husband to Virginia Lee Joy, the love of his life. On Feb.
Louis Moore, age 98, of Coleman, died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021, at Coleman County Medical Center. Mr. Moore’s wishes were to be cremated and his family has honored that request. His cremated remains will be inurned in the Voss Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

Yvonne Grace Wegenhoft Leonard, 88, passed peacefully with her daughter Janice Fox by her side, surrounded by love and prayers from her family, in Johnson City. She went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021. Yvonne was born on June 22, 1932, in Rock Island, Texas.
Yvonne, affectionately known as “Danny”, was a pioneer for change when women’s roles were evolving, and she did it with grace by supporting family values and honoring traditional roles.
Leah Nell made her transition Jan. 19, 2021 in Austin, Texas. She was 95 years old and most of those years were filled with adventure and lots of people.
Nell was an entrepreneur in every sense of the word. She held many offices in many different fields. She never met a stranger, which she learned from her father.
Avan T. “Don” Uballe, age 80, of Blanco, passed away on Nov. 30, 2020 in Kerrville, at Waterside Nursing Home.
Don was born in San Benito, Texas to Santana Uballe Sr. and Maria Torres Uballe on Oct. 15, 1940. He went to school at Blanco Isd and has been married to his wife Linda for 30 years.
It is with extreme sorrow that we announce the passing of Lucia Herrera Avila. She passed at 5 p.m. on Jan. 17, 2021, at the age of 49. She was surrounded by her family (both virtually and in person).
Lucia was born in Santa Maria De La Paz Zacatecas, Mexico on March 25,1971 to Manuel and Louisa Herrera.
