Robin Bruce Somerville, age 77, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Ascension-Seaton hospital in Austin, with his family by his side. Robin was a beloved husband, father, and papa.
Robin was born in Newbury, Berkshire UK, on April 19, 1942 to Arthur and Dorthy Somerville. He came to the United States on July 4, 1979.
He was semi-retired from a career that spanned various businesses and industries.
Roy Max Bible of Johnson City passed away peacefully, Friday, June 19, 2020, at the age of 93 in Fredericksburg, with his family at his side. Roy was born Sept. 5, 1926 in Blanco County to Martin Bible and Ella (Withers) Bible.
Roy attended Johnson City schools until ranching became a full-time commitment.
Lucille Sophie (Maurer) Scharnhorst was born Sept. 4, 1930. She departed this world to be in God’s Hand on June 19, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her husband Milton Scharnhorst on Oct. 8, 1987 and by infant granddaughter, Wendy Lynn Moore, on May 16, 1973. She was the last living sibling of 10 children born to Adolf and Delka Maurer.
She attended the Junction School located just north of Stonewall and completed the 8th grade.
Vivian Florine (Kaeding) Lord passed away peacefully at her home in Blanco, on June 11, 2020. Born on July 10, 1924 in Gonzales County, Texas to Louisa Jane (Greer) and Knox Green Kaeding, she was the oldest of their three girls. Florine married Harold B. Esther Erna Dowlearn, a loving wife and mother, was born March 4, 1925 to Gustav Karger and Minna Kammlah Karger in San Antonio. She went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 14, 2020.
In addition to her husband of 75 years, James, and her parents, Esther is preceded in death by brothers Hugo, Rudolph, Felix, Emil, Stanley and Walter, and a sister, Sarah.
Esther and James graduated from Brackenridge High School where she was a member of the Purple Jackets.
Timothy Mark White of Spring Branch passed away the evening of Friday, May 29, 2020 at his family’s ranch in Blanco. Timothy was born March 31, 1968 in Baytown.

Lifetime resident of Blanco, Ronald Thomas Cooley, known as Ronnie Cooley, passed away on June 1, 2020. He was born in Blanco at the Old Blanco Courthouse on March 31, 1955 to Samuel Richard Cooley (Sam, as he was known) and Ada (Franke) Cooley. At that time, the courthouse had been converted into a hospital.
The Cooleys owned and operated a dairy farm, the “Triple C Dairy,” and farm near Blanco, and C & C Grocery Store (where CJ’s Exxon is currently located) in Blanco for many years.
