The Mason Garden Club will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the Stribling Room of the Mason County M. Beven Eckert Memorial Library. Guestspeaker will be Marlene Gillman, master gardener from Killeen, who will speak on “Wildflower Legends.”

Mark your calendars - Opening Day for Mason Youth Baseball and Softball will be on Saturday, March 23rd. Opening ceremonies will start at 9:30 am and first pitch at 10:00 am. Come early, hungry and stay all-day! We will serve a BBQ brisket lunch meal, which is our annual fundraiser event.
We have 175 baseball and softball players this year!

The Board of Trustees of MISD met for their regular meeting on February 25, 2019 at the High School Library. Board President Jeff Durst called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm with members Jim Bob Smith, Julio Ramon, Tina Cantu-Navarro, Ryan Jordan, Treg Hudson and Kathryn Martin in attendance.
The Mason Punchers competed at the Comfort Relays this past Thursday. The Punchers competed well on a very cold night and against very good competition. Here are the results for the JV and Varsity boys:
