SAN ANGELO, TX (12/10/2020)-- Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, has announced the students achieving the Dean’s List designation for the 2020 fall semester.
To be eligible for the ASU Dean’s List, full-time undergraduate students must maintain a 3.25 or better grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

It was announced over the weekend that Mason High School girls’ varsity cross country senior standout runner Ana Segura was voted to the 2A Girls’ Cross Country All-State team, according to the Texas Girls Coaches Association.
Segura was the Cowgirls’ top runner for the 2020 cross country season and helped lead the way to a 2A District 29 championship for Mason on Oct.
The Mason High School girls’ varsity basketball team continued its strong start to the 2020-21 season this past week as the Cowgirls picked up a pair of double-digit victories on Dec. 1 and Dec. 4 over Jarrell High School and Marble Falls High School, respectively.

In their five victories this season for Mason, the Cowgirls have proved to be a very good second-half team.
The Mason High School varsity football team, which entered last week with an impressive eight-game winning streak, was put up against a juggernaut top-ranked Shiner High School squad that had beaten up on its opponents throughout 2020.
This is exactly what happened as No. 1 Shiner avenged three consecutive playoff losses to Mason (2014, 2016, and 2017) with a dominant 56-0 shutout victory over the Punchers on Friday, Nov.

The Mason High School varsity football team won its eighth consecutive game on Friday, Nov. 20 as the Punchers poured it on in the second half for an impressive 41-18 victory over Kenedy High School on Friday, Nov.
