Gritty 2020 Punchers’ FB Season Ends with Lopsided Loss to Shiner
The Mason High School varsity football team, which entered last week with an impressive eight-game winning streak, was put up against a juggernaut top-ranked Shiner High School squad that had beaten up on its opponents throughout 2020. This is exactly what happened as No. 1 Shiner avenged three consecutive playoff losses to Mason (2014, 2016, and 2017) with a dominant 56-0 shutout victory over the Punchers on Friday, Nov.
