7th vs. Ozona The seventh grade Punchers played a hard fought game but came up short in a 16-6 loss to Ozona. It was a tight game all the way through but Ozona was able to pull off a late touchdown putting the game out of reach. Scoring the lone touchdown for the Punchers was Kalen Langehennig on rushing touchdown. 8th grade vs.
It is time for the 63rd Annual Coronation as the students of Mason High School celebrate this unique year with a Mask-querade Ball. The students will be presented to the community in formal attire, and the Queen and King and their court will be crowned on November 7th at the High School Auditorium.
The Mason High School varsity football team travels at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30 for a pivotal matchup this week against the Ozona High School Lions that will determine the 2A-1 District 14 champion for the 2020 season. The Punchers are coming off a bye week after deciding to reschedule their Senior Night game vs.
Mason Tennis Association will have a meeting on Monday November 2nd, at 6 PM at the tennis courts.
Last week, the JV Punchers traveled to Llano to take on the Yellowjackets. The Punchers jumped out to an early lead with a score at halftime of 22-6. After halftime, the Punchers continued to roll, pushing their lead to a final of 39-14. With the win, the Punchers improve to 9-0 on the season.
7th grade The seventh grade Punchers ran into good competition as they pulled out a win and a shutout against Lampasas, 16-0. Defense played lights out with the shutout and were able to get a defensive touchdown as well. Offense had some trouble getting going but kept going at it and was able to put some points on the board. The 2020-21 Mason Cowgirl basketball season is little more than one week away from tip-off. The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches preseason poll has been released and the Cowgirls are ranked 4th among Class AA schools. The Cowgirls will open their season with perennial AAAA Levelland on Nov. 6 at Sterling City.
