Central Texas Electric Cooperative will be collecting toys at all four of their offices in Fredericksburg, Kingsland, Llano and Mason until mid-December.
At the Fredericksburg headquarters, CTEC is working with the Rotary Club of Fredericksburg in their Toys for Tots program which collects, wraps and delivers Christmas presents to needy children in Gillespie County.
Bluebonnet CASA needs your help this holiday season! We have a few items we still need to complete our Christmas shopping for our children. We are in need of the following: batteries (mostly AA and AAA), gift boxes (all sizes), pajamas, socks, diapers, and Legos. Also, we need 2 boy’s bikes (11 year old and 7 year old) and 3 girl's bikes (5 year old, 4 year old, and 3 year old).
Mason ended its regular season last Friday with a perfect undefeated record, shutting out Sabinal 56-0, preparing to head into playoffs starting this week.

Christmas season is rapidly approaching and it’s time for the City of Mason and volunteers to get busy decorating Heritage Park with its beautiful light display. We need your help to continue to add to our community’s Christmas at Heritage Park.
The last several years the park has been festively lit through private and City donations but in order to keep this project going and growing, monetary donations are needed.

Pee Wee Mason Football was the Super Bowl winner over Llano on October 27th, winning their final game over Llano, 32 to 13. They are appreciative to the entire community of Mason for their outstanding support.
Alpha Beta Psi will be hosting its annual Light Up Our Town Saturday, November 24th 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Santa and Mrs. Clause will be arriving by fire truck at 4:00 p.m. They will be on the courthouse porch, so parents bring your cameras. Thank you to the Little Tykes Express of Mason who will be on the courthouse lawn giving train rides, Mason Building Supply for donating the bounce house and the Mason High School Art Club who will be doing face painting.

Thirty Five members of the Mason FFA Chapter competed in the Bluebonnet District Leadership Development Events held at Marble Falls High School on November 6. The top two teams from each contest advance to the Area VII LDE Contest in Blanco on Wednesday, November 14. Congratulations to all those competing and good luck at area.
Another Blue Ribbon Service Day is in the books! The faculty and students at Mason High School are so grateful to our community partners for putting us to work and allowing us to serve our community. We appreciate the support we receive from everyone in Mason County, so we are happy for the opportunity to show our gratitude in tangible ways.
Be our Guest! The fourth grade faculty and students at Mason Elementary would consider it a great pleasure if all of our Mason County veterans would join us for a luncheon on Monday, November 12th in the Mason High School Commons area followed by a program of celebration in the High School gym at noon.
The luncheon will be from 11:00-11:45am.
