The Mason Garden Club will hold its annual Christmas Party on Tuesday. December 11, 2018, at 11:30 p.m. in the Stribling Room of the Mason CountyM. Beven Eckert Memorial Library.
This will be a pot luck luncheon. Members are asked to bring their favorite holiday recipe and a gift for exchange.
The second playoff game of the 2018 season ended well for the Punchers on Friday night, as they defeated the Weimar Eagles 35-6 in the Area match in Buda.
This game would feature the Mason defense in a prominent role, as Weimar had lots of speed behind the ball, and Mason was ready for them.
During the first quarter, both teams showed that they deserved their playoff berths.

The First United Methodist Church of Mason invites the community to join them on the three Wednesdays of Advent for a celebration of the season with music, lunch, and a message of the joy of Advent. This annual event starts on Wednesday, December 5, with songs presented by the Mason Community Choir from its Christmas Cantata.
The Mason Community Choir will present the cantata, “More Than a Manger” this Sunday, December 2, 6 :00 pm at First United Methodist Church. It is our wish that these songs will help you look through the eyes of your circumstance and see Christmas in a fresh new way. The service is sponsored by the Mason Ministerial Alliance and an offering will be taken to benefit the Mason Food Bank.
The Mason ARTISAN GALLERY, 117 N. Liveoak, across from Willow Creek Parking Lot, welcomes visitors to their Holiday Event, Nov. 29, from 12-7.

River of Life Church is hosting its fourth annual Senior Citizen Angel Tree! The last several years, we have enjoyed the great privilege of helping meet the needs of a humble group of precious individuals in our community: our senior citizens.
Many senior citizens live on a fixed income which may barely cover necessities such as shelter, medication, and food.
The Punchers met up with the Milano Eagles last Friday in Burnet for the Bi-District playoff, and fans were not disappointed.
The Punchers established a significant lead in the first quarter, scoring four times and pulling out ahead by 28 points. The first quarter scores were:

Alpha Beta Psi will be hosting its annual Light Up Our Town Saturday, November 24th 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Santa and Mrs. Clause will be arriving by fire truck at 4:00 p.m. They will be on the courthouse porch, so parents bring your cameras.
