Scott Edward Lawless passed peacefully at home on June 13 from complications of appendiceal cancer. He was born to Bobby Dean Lawless and Geraldine (Scott) Lawless on Aug. 30, 1961, in Bay City, and raised in Rosenberg. He enjoyed living in Austin for decades, and most recently savored lake life in Lago Vista, but his family’s land on the Llano River was his heart’s home.

Max Dale Alexander passed away at home on May 23, 2018 at the age of 85.
Max attended Texas Tech University and earned his teaching degree. His teaching career began in San Marcos and included many happy years teaching in Blanco and Burnet, before finally settling at Llano High School where he taught vocational education until his retirement.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge #242 in Llano for over 58 years, where he held numerous offices and positions within the Masonic organizations.
