Hubert Morgan, of Pontotoc, passed away on Monday, May 14, at the age of 88. He was born at the family ranch at Field Creek in Llano County on July 14, 1929 to Otto V. Morgan and Virginia Simpson Morgan.  Hubert attended school at San Fernando Academy in Pontotoc and in Llano where he graduated from high school.
August Otto Jr. passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the age of 84. He was born Feb. 13, 1934 to Amanda (Hoffmann) and August Otto Sr. He grew up on his parent’s 3200-acre ranch with his seven siblings, five sisters and two brothers. Jr. graduated Llano High School in 1951.
Thomas James Moore, 57 died peacefully May 4 at the Christopher Hospice Home in Austin. Thomas’ health had been declining in recent months due to kidney failure amongst other complications. He had been active everyday up till recently and had incredible loving support from his parents, Jim and Bobbie Jean Moore, sisters Janice and Vicki Moore, and his nephew Blake Enberg, plus their immediate families. Vivian Ann Williams, 70, of Buchanan Dam, passed away April 22, 2018. She was born to Charles and Mary(Isenberger) Rhoades on May 27, 1947 in Llano. Vivian enjoyed researching genealogy, traveling, and gardening. She loved the Lord, and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Bonnie Vaughan Woodell, age 87, of Llano, and formerly of Kerrville, passed peacefully on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. She was born in Nevada, Texas on June 1, 1930. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Georgia Susan Searcy, and husband, Fred Woodell. Erica Nicole Beasley, 34, of Llano, died on April 29, 2018. Erica was born on March 22, 1984, to Jon and Ann Beasley in Llano. Erica attended Llano ISD as a child and attended Marble Falls High School for a period. Erica loved her family and her son beyond all else.
Lifelong Llano resident, Jim Oestreich passed away April 11, 2018. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Always quick with a joke that would make you laugh or at least make you roll your eyes. A hard-working family man that loved small town life. He is survived by his wife, Janie Oestreich; daughter, Kim Horton; and grandson, Jed Oestreich of Llano.
Steven Boyce Kuhn, also known as “Rooster” because he was an early riser, of Tow, age 50, passed away at home, April 16, 2018. He was born in Fort Worth on April 25, 1967 to Joy Lockhart Kuhn Eastman and Marvin Kuhn. He was an active member of Tow First Baptist Church.
Bettye Hagar, 91, of Llano, passed away on April 20, 2018 in Georgetown. She was a member of First Baptist Church Llano where Sarah was her Sunday School teacher. Sarah was also a close friend. Viewing and funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28, at First Baptist Church of Llano gymnasium, since the sanctuary is being renovated.
Mrs. Bessie Dennis, known as Skipper to many, peacefully entered rest on April 16, 2018. She was born Feb. 23, 1937 in Mason, to Flem Sanders and Estelle Eaton Strange.
