Barbara E. Binion passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016 in Llano at the age of 81. She was born Sept. 5, 1935 in Polk County, Arkansas to M. E. Ellison and Loda Jane (Davis). Barbara was a resident of Llano since 1996. Prior to living in Llano, she lived in Harker Heights, Texas.
Eron Lavonia Moore, 93, of Buchanan Dam died peacefully on Dec, 7, 2016. She was born on June 22, 1923 in Minor Hill, Tennessee. Eron married Gene Moore on May 7, 1950 and they had four children, Jim Moore, Bob Moore, Liz Moore LaFont of Volente, and Susie Moore Jacques of Buchanan Dam, Texas.
Eron and Gene opened their first restaurant in Oak Hill, moving to the Hill Country in 1968 and opened the Anchor Restaurant in Kingsland and later opened the Fleets Inn Oyster Bar in Buchanan Dam.

Nina Lynn Baughman passed away on Dec. 6,2016. She is in heaven now with her parents John and Earline Lowe and her bubba. She left behind two daughters, Cherry Quintanilla and Roslyn Valdez; eight grandchildren, Axl, Azi, Oddyssey, Mike, Jacklyn, Donovan, Sean and Peyton. She called all the grandsons her Tallies and they called her Nanners.

Jack Moss Rogers of Duarte, California passed away on July 18, 2016. He is preceded in death by his wife June McCoy Rogers and is survived by his children Lauralynn Rogers and Jack Rogers Jr. and his grandchildren Sean Rail, Marie Haefliger, Van Rogers and Nate Rogers.

James (Jim) Walter Meyer of Llano passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, at the age of 94. He was born Sept. 18, 1922, to Julia (Trotier) and Walter Meyer in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. He married Charlene Emma DeCanter, also from Rhinelander, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on April 26, 1952. They enjoyed a loving and devoted marriage for 64 years.
Jim served in the United States Air Force, where he attained the rank of first lieutenant as a bombardier pilot during World War II for state-side training.
Geraldine Wessels Lang, age 83, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016. She was born in Winters, on Oct. 20, 1932, to Alfred and Emma Schroeder Wessels.
Geraldine married Henry Lang at the age of 17 on June 3, 1951. She lived her entire married life on their ranch near Castell.

Everyone knew her as Sheri, but she was born Sharon Lynn Lehman on June 1, 1947 in Houston. Sheri passed away peacefully on Dec. 3, 2016, from complications of long-term Parkinson’s Disease.
Sheri graduated from York High School in Elmhurst, Illinois in 1965 and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education from Northern Illinois University in 1969.
Dolores Traficanto, 86, of Austin, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016. Dolores was born on Jan. 24, 1930 in Chicago, Ill., to Della and William Rommel. She had been in Texas since 1995 after residing in Florida from 1978 through 1994.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rocco Traficanto, and her parents, Della and William Rommel.
Donald Foy Scott (Coach), 81, of Llano, passed away on Nov. 29, 2016. The memorial service was held Saturday, Dec. 3, at 1 p.m. at Rabb Ranch, 5315 Hwy 71 West, in Llano.
Don was born in Shawnee, Okla., on May 19, 1935. He graduated from Wewoka High School and received a BS degree from Abilene Christian College.
