The Kids’ Lunch Club, which provides hot, nutritious lunches for children three days a week through June and July, has prepared its last meals for the year, and wraps up the summer with a pool party Friday night for kids and cooks and their families.
The club started years ago as a means of maintaining nutrition among low-income children during the summers, when school — and school lunches — are out.
The Johnson City Library is pleased to announce having won a grant from Tangled Bank Studios, LLC. The grant is outreach for the IMAX movie Backyard Wilderness. At the core of the grant is a beautiful interactive popup exhibit designed for use in libraries.
