Enrollment for the 2018 Summer Program is underway for Kingdom Kids, River of Life’s Mom’s Day Out program. Kingdom Kids mission is to provide a loving, Christ-centered environment where children are nurtured and mother’s needs are met. Summer activities for children ages 3 months to 5th grade include age appropriate Bible stories, music time, crafts, baking, and recreation time. This summer we will be offering (2) three week sessions for ages 3 months – 5th grade.
On May 13th, the Boys headed to the State Golf Tournament in Austin. Sophomores; Aaron Reardon, Kyle Montoya, seniors; Matt Finn, Stan Stultz and Emanuel Martinez all took part in a marvelous journey. The air was full of excitement for we were among the top 12 teams in the state.
Kerrville, Texas (May 24, 2018) - On Saturday, May 12 Schreiner University officially conducted the spring commencement ceremony. The May 2018 Commencement Ceremony was Schreiner University’s 36th baccalaureate graduation since conferring its first four-year degrees in 1984. Registration for the annual youth cheer camp has begun. This camp is for ages 4 years old through rising 8th-graders. Pick up forms in the offices at school or the administration office on the square. The camp will be held Monday, August 6th through Friday, August 10th from 9:00 - 12:00.
The Mason Tennis Team and its 12 state qualifiers traveled to College Station on Thursday and Friday to compete in the State UIL Tennis Tournament. Mason would capture four state championships and three 2nd place finishes by the end of play on Friday adding to the 92 previous state championships.
St. Joseph Catholic Church parishioners honored its MHS seniors at Mass on Sunday, May 20. The seniors were introduced and presented gifts. A reception was held in the Parish Hall after Mass. Congratulations Class of 2018. We are very proud of all of you and wish you the best in the future!

INDIANAPOLIS – Hardin-Simmons track and field athlete Hasanai 'Go' Chanriang has qualified for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field National Championship in the 400 hurdles. Chanriang has the sixth-best time among the 20 qualifiers with a 52.41. He actually ran a career-best 52.33 at Texas Tech but it was adjusted for elevation. He will be looking to become the second Division III all-American for the Cowboys.
The Mason Punchers defeated Charlotte 2-0 on Friday in Kerrville in the Class 2A regional quarterfinal round as Emanuel Martinez and Otto Wofford combined to throw a no hitter. The pitching was strong on both sides. The Punchers struck out nine. Emanuel Martinez got the start for the Punchers. He surrendered zero runs and zero hits over six innings, striking out six and walking zero.
The Youth Agricultural Lifetime Leadership opportunity is a 6 day exploration for youth in 4-H Districts 7,10,11 & 12 to experience South Texas agricultural production. Youth that have a strong interest in production agriculture who are outgoing high school freshmen through outgoing seniors or ages 15—18 as of September 1, 2016 are invited to apply and 30 youth will be selected.
