Last week, the White team traveled to Comanche to take on the Indians.
The Punchers played well from the very beginning, scoring first. After a late touchdown by the Indians, the Punchers led at half time with a score of 8-6.
After halftime, the Punchers continued their first half success scoring on 2 more drives while only allowing another late score to Comanche.

Storytime is held Mondays at 10:30 a.m. in the Kid’s Zone of the Mason Co. M. Beven Eckert Memorial Library. Children ages 2-6 are welcome and should be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Weekly stories are led by Carol Lampman, an elementary school teacher specializing in early childhood development.

Flu shot forms will NOT be mailed out. If you want your child to receive the flu vaccine, you can pick up the forms at the offices or print them off from our school website.

After slogging through a victory over Sonora the prior week, last week's game against Jim Ned was moved to Thursday night to avoid the threat of severe storms. High schools all over central and west Texas had done the same, and it turned out to be a wise decision.
The Jim Ned Indians entered the game with a 3-0 record, just like the Punchers.
