The Mason FFA Chapter, as all our outstanding organizations, was unable to host their 2019-2020 Banquet. This banquet has been an annual event where the current FFA chapter officers prepare a fajita supper and honor all those students competing in various contests throughout the school year. It’s graduation time, and we are looking forward to a new kind of celebration! The faculty and administration of Mason High School is well aware that the numbers of persons who have tested positive for COVID-19 continue to grow in our county. We take this situation very seriously, and it has been in the forefront of our minds as we made plans to hold a graduation parade.
Mason ISD is continuing to make meals available to all children 18 years and younger (they do not have to be in school or be enrolled at Mason ISD) for free. Regular deliveries and curb side pick up will be available through May 21. Summer feeding will begin on June 1 and continue until the end of June.

The Department of Texas VFW Auxiliary sponsors a scholarship program to assist nursing students achieve their goals. Current nursing students, who will be on track to graduate at any level in 2021 school year can apply. The nursing student must be attending a Texas College or University, be an American Citizen and have a 3.0 or higher GPA.
