The Public Water System of the City of Mason has reached a Critical Level condition. We are about to tie-in our new HMO Water System at Well 1 and all of our storage tanks. This tie-in will take down two of our storage tanks for at least 1 to 2 weeks.

For the past 30 summers, Mason kids have been able to take advantage of the Read to Swim program at the library, sponsored by the Mason Bank. Each child that reads for one hour in the library earns a free pass to the Mason swimming pool right next door.
District 53 Representative Andrew Murr visited Mason on June 18, 2021. Representative Murr was instrumental in securing $6,000,000 in new funding to help rebuild the Mason County Courthouse. In his personal research Murr said this was the first time in about two decades that the state has give money to a county, outside of grant money, for their courthouse.

Having begun her career with the City in 2001, Pattie has amassed a mental library for problem solving and procedural formality that continues to ensure smooth operations on a daily basis.
In May of 2001, Pattie was elected Commissioner of District 1.
Despite its popularity with residents, including some city workers who would stock up on water there, the City of Mason’s water station on McKinley Street will not be flowing soon. The water station closed due to COVID-19.
One of the city’s newly-elected commissioners lives nearby and remembers plenty of folks using it, including himself at times.
