Norma Kathryn Barnes, age 81, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2019. She was born June 16, 1938 in rural Indiana. She loved to tell stories about growing up on her grandfather’s farm. When she was in her teens the family moved to Texas where she proudly lived the rest of her life as a TEXAN.
Charles Edwin Hallmark, also known as Charlie, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019 in Marble Falls, Texas at the age of 72. He was born on January 9, 1947 in Llano, Texas to Mix and Norma Hallmark. Charles married Barbara Sue Faught on July 8, 1966. They were married for 53 years and resided in Tow, Texas.
Jerry Hogan Crabtree passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019 after a long illness. He was born June 12, 1938 to Hogan Jack Crabtree and Willie Beatrice Isbell Crabtree in Sherman, Texas. He celebrated his 4th birthday on a train bound for San Francisco. He graduated Polytechnic High School in San Francisco, California one year early as Valedictorian of his class.
Clyde Mordica III passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 in Pleasanton, Texas at the age of 70. He was born July 5, 1948 in Fredericksburg, Texas to Clyde Earl Mordica Jr. and Louise (Leifeste). Clyde was a resident of Pleasanton, Texas for one and a half years, since coming from Buchanan Dam and Austin, he was a member of the Cowboy Fellowship in Jourdanton, Texas, and was also an avid hunter and fisherman. Harold Preston of Llano passed away on Sunday July 7, 2019 at the age of 83. He was born on December 6, 1935 in Hays County TX to Alvin and Selma Keese Schneider. Harold served his country in the Army. On December 28, 1958 he married Elna Kuhlmann in Fredericksburg TX. Jean Louise Bode, a resident of Llano, TX since 1951, passed away July 3, 2019 in Kingsland at the age of 95. She was born on October 1, 1923 to Otis Charles Livengood, and Lydia Vivian Sadler Livengood in Walensburg, CO. Her adolescent years were spent in Santa Fe, NM. Jean held various jobs in her life including a secretarial position at Farm Bureau, but her primary occupation was that of a loving wife and mother to her three daughters and six grandchildren.

Troy Dean Boultinghouse of Cherokee Texas passed away Friday, July 5, 2019 at the age of 56. He was born July 26, 1962 to Shirley (Capps) and Jesse Boultinghouse. He is survived by his sons Zachary and Theron of Llano, Texas; Sister Traci Highsmith and husband Trey of Schertz and Brother Chad Boultinghouse of Schertz.
Norbert “Bert” Lee Winkler, 87, Of Kingsland, Texas passed away on July 5, 2019. He was born to Charles and Mary Elizabeth (Kainer) Winkler on April 11, 1932 in High Hill, Texas. Mr. Winkler played football and was a competitive tennis player in high school. He proudly served his country in the Unites States Army and played competitive tennis where he partnered and competed with men of all ranks.
Patricia Ann Williams, 75 of Kingsland, Texas passed away on June 26, 2019. She was born on August 20, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas to Elbert William and Ruby Wilma (Wilson) Young. Pat grew up in San Antonio and graduated from Jefferson High School. She learned to be a bookkeeper while working with her mom at Clean Air Heating and Air in San Antonio.
