The Varsity Lady Eagles - in the final week of pre-district competition - dropped a rare home decision over 4A Canyon Lake last Tuesday (16-25, 25-20, 16-25, 25-17, 9-15) and rebounded on Friday for the win at 3A San Antonio Cole (25-18, 25- 15, 25-22) to bring their record to 15-9.

By Rachel Lumpee A special meeting of the Blanco County Commissioners’ Court on Aug. 22, 2019 was called to order by Judge Brett Bray with all commissioners present. Judge Bray asked the commissioners to consider rescheduling the next public hearing because it was scheduled to take place on a state holiday, LBJ’s birthday.
At 9 a.m. the commissioners court was called to order by Judge Brett Bray with all four commissioners present. Emil Uecker motioned to approve the minutes from prior meetings and Tommy Weir seconded; it carried. Next, the line item transfers were discussed; there were three transfers requested and all by Weir. The first line item was requested for patching and seal costs.
