Blanco resident Valerie Williams remembers the day that Fudge came into her life. One day she noticed something unfamiliar in her yard. On closer inspection, she realized it was a scraggly, starving little cat. Being an animal lover, Williams didn’t hesitate to coax the cat into her home so she could give it some food and water, and better assess the situation.
