The 2015 Certification Class has completed the 13 week classroom portion of the Master Gardening course.
The class met weekly and covered many aspects of sustainable gardening such as landscaping, soil amending and composting, vegetable gardening, propagation, and many more.
The class members, also known as Associate Master Gardeners, enjoyed several field trips including Blanco State Park and the San Antonio Botanical Gardens.

Volunteers and supporters of Wild Woman Weekend gathered at the Blanco Courthouse on April 30th to celebrate the results of their event. Connie Barron disclosed that the event made close to $58,000 this year, a new high for the Blanco Non-Profit Coalition: Gem of the Hills Senior Community Center, Friends of the Blanco State Park, Blanco Library, Inc., and The Old Blanco County Courthouse Preservation Society.
