Saturday, April 18, is St. Michael's Episcopal Church Spring Rummage Sale. The Episcopal Church Women of St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Blanco began holding rummage sales once a year a decade ago. The yearly rummage sale event grew into a fall and spring sale four years ago. On Saturday, April 18th Blanco County Aggie Moms will be selling tickets at Market Days for our Scholarship Fundraiser. Pico Ranch has generously donated a Brinkman 6 burner gas grill with rotisserie and side burner. A mitt and a set of barbeque tools are also included. Raffle tickets sell for $20 each, and the drawing for this grill will be held on April 21st.
On Saturday April 11, Real Ale Brewing Company will invite loyal fans to celebrate the company's 19th year in craft beer with a party at its brewery in Blanco. This annual party runs from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature over 50 beers from Real Ale, including a selection of Brewers' Cut, Mysterium Verum, and other cask-conditioned offerings.

The annual "gal pal" extravaganza, "Wild Woman Weekend" returns to Blanco April 10-12. The lawn of the Blanco Courthouse will be the focal point of the annual event, featuring an array of artisan booths, which are designed to capture feminine preferences, according to Connie Barron, founder of the event. Later this month, the Blanco Performing Arts will host the San Antonio-based, world-renowned SOLI Chamber Ensemble as part of its 2014-15 season, which ends in June.
