Mason High School hosted the 7th annual College and Career Day on Friday, November 9th, sponsored by the Career and Technology Department and Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). College and Career Day offers MHS students the opportunity to interact with professionals from various career backgrounds as well as university and military recruiters.
Monday, Nov. 12, the teachers and students of the Mason Elem. 4th grade treated the Veterans of the community with great respect & dignity by inviting all Veterans to a Hot Dog lunch with all the trimmings, beverage and a wonderful table of cookies.

The Department of Texas VFW Auxiliary sponsors a scholarship program to assist nursing students achieve their goals. Current nursing students, who will be seniors for the fall 2019-2020 school year can apply. The nursing student must be attending a Texas College or University, be an American Citizen and have a 3.0 or higher GPA.
Mason Jr. High and Elem. Had 52 students competing in the Region 15 robotics contest. November 5th in San Angelo. The students competed in the Inventions division, presenting 15 different robots designed and built by our different teams. Each team consisted of 2-4 students who gave a 6 minute oral presentation before the judges and worked together to keep detailed records of design, programming and testing changes.

Mason ended its regular season last Friday with a perfect undefeated record, shutting out Sabinal 56-0, preparing to head into playoffs starting this week.
Mason scored in every quarter of Friday night's game. They had 401 total yards to Sabinal's 52.

In their final game of the season, the White team took on Brownwood.
The Punchers controlled the game from the opening kickoff. Everyone played up to the expectation of being a Puncher. Mason won the game with a final score of 40-0.
The White team finished off the year with a overall record of 5-3.
The coaching staff is really proud of the way they played this season.
Pee Wee Mason Football was the Super Bowl winner over Llano on October 27th, winning their final game over Llano, 32 to 13. They are appreciative to the entire community of Mason for their outstanding support.
Thirty Five members of the Mason FFA Chapter competed in the Bluebonnet District Leadership Development Events held at Marble Falls High School on November 6. The top two teams from each contest advance to the Area VII LDE Contest in Blanco on Wednesday, November 14. Congratulations to all those competing and good luck at area.
