BH Nobles, III of Camp Air, passed away on March 3, 2018, at the age of 69. He was surrounded by family at his beside at LifeCare Hospital in San Antonio. He was the eldest child of the late BH ‘Babe’ Nobles, Jr. and Gladys Gamel Nobles and was born on October 17, 1948, in Brady, TX. He is survived by Julie Parks Nobles, his wife of forty-five years.
Robert Edwin (Bob) Tear died peacefully at his home in Mason, Texas, on Sunday, December 31, 2017. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, on June 2, 1926; the only child of Kendrick D. Tear and Ruth Benedict Tear. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife and mother of his children, H.
Nancy Jane Birley Trip of Bandera, Texas, graduated to her Heavenly home on Monday, February 19, 2018, in San Antonio, Texas. Nancy was born in Moweaqua, Illinois on August 15,1941, to Jim and Virginia Birley. Nancy and Robert Larry Trip were married for 47 wonderful years. During these years they made their home in Tomball, Texas, but were able to enjoy numerous jeeping vacations, and spending time with family and friends.
Jerry Wayne Pike, age 71, of Brady, Texas, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018, in Houston, Texas. Jerry was born November 20, 1946, in Brady to Slayden Luther Pike and Gladys Loerne (Cravey) Pike. He married Linda Anderson on July 12, 1968, in Brady. He moved back to Brady in 1989 and worked for the Brady Independent School District and for the Heart of Texas Memorial Hospital for many years.
Surrounded by members of his loving family, Thomas Ray Polk slipped peacefully into eternal life on January 1, 2018, following a brief illness. Thomas was born September 14, 1927, to Thomas Walker and Martha Sanders Polk in Mason, Texas. Thomas attended Long Mountain schools and graduated from Mason High School. He served in the US Army.
Mary Lopez Palacio, of Mason, passed away on Thursday, February 8, at the age of 72. She was affectionately known as “Corè” to her friends and family. Mary Palacio is survived by her, two children: John Palacio and wife Deandra of Mason and Norma Castaneda and husband Felix of Fredericksburg, one sister: Rosario Velez and husband Edward Velez of Mason, and 4 grandchildren Devin Castaneda, John Adam Castaneda, Raegan Palacio, and Makenna Palacio. David Clarence Alm was born on January 21, 1929, the oldest child of Clarence Newton and Marie Matilda Alm. He passed away on Feb 3, 2018. He was born in Phillips, Wisconsin where he spent his childhood and graduated from high school. David enlisted in the service in the summer of 1947, joining what would shortly become the U.S.
Deltha Jane Nehr Gaida was born May 14, 1934, in Mason County, Texas, to Ben and Angeline Nehr. She passed away at home on January 31, 2018. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert Gaida of Hamilton, Texas. She is also survived by two daughters; Debbie Wall-Smith of Hamilton, Terri Garza and her husband Jon of Midlothian, Texas, a son, Kelly Johnson and wife Nancy also of Midlothian.
David Alm, of Mason, passed away on Saturday, February 3, at the age of 89. Survivors include his wife, Beth Alm of Mason, 2 sons David Alm of Mason and Eric Alm of Marble Falls, a brother Jack Alm and 2 sisters Luci Alm and Nancy Alm. Visitation with the family will be Friday afternoon from 1 to 2 p.m.
Della Rodgers, 97, of Granbury, passed away on Saturday morning, January 20th at her apartment at the Quail Park Memory Care facility. Della was born in Bynum (Hill County) Texas, on May 8, 1920, to her parents, Reuben Sylvester and Ella Grigsby Keeton. She was one of six children. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1938.
