Mrs. Lillian Jean Kordzik Zenner nee Pinn of Fredericksburg passed away on Monday May 13th in the Knopp Nursing and Rehab at the age of 93 years. Lillian was born March 9, 1926 in Cistern, Texas to Eugene James and Lilly Kotwig Pinn. Brandy Hamman passed away on Saturday, May 4 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 88. She is proceeded in death by parents Wesley and Esther Brandenberger; husband, Bill Hamman; brother, Franklin Brandenberger; and sister, Imogene Loftin. Saul M. Lopez, Jr., passed away peacefully at his home, in North Richland Hills, Texas, where his loving wife cared for him, on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. Saul Lopez, Jr., was born on March 22, 1935, to father, Saul Lopez, Sr., and mother, Paulonia Martinez. He was loved by many family members and friends. February 5, 1935- May 2, 2019 Peggy Jordan entered her heavenly home and reunited with her loved ones on May 2, 2019. She peacefully passed away with family by her side after her battle with vascular dementia. Peggy was born on February 5, 1935 to Cecil and Ruby Chew at Bode Peak, Mason County in a rugged old three room home where they lived.
Joe Tom White, 61 of Santa Rosa, NM, passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 4, 2019. Joe Tom, also known as “Jose” and “The Bull”, was born to the home of Tom White, Jr. and Virginia (Nixon) White on November 4, 1957 in Mason, Texas. Joe Tom attended school in Mason and graduated from Mason High School in 1976.
Brandy Hamman passed away on Saturday, May 4 in San Antonio, TX. at the age of 88. She is survived by her sister, Florence Smith and husband Danny, of Mason, TX.  A graveside service will be held May 18, 2019 at the Hilda Methodist Church cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Condolences may be sent to the family on-line at masonfuneralhome.net. Donald Stewart Boyd, age 86 of Art, TX passed peacefully into the loving arms of his savior on Sunday, April 28, 2019, at his home on the Llano River with his wife and daughter at his side. Don, as he was commonly known, was born in Hammond, Indiana, to the late John Lynn Boyd and Louise Stewart Sanger.  He was the youngest of their two children and preceeded in death by his brother Dennis. Donald Boyd passed away at the age of 86 on Sunday, April 28, 2019. Visitation will be Thursday, May 2nd from 5-7 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Friday, May 3rd at the Art United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. Interment will be after the service at the Gooch cemetery. John Harold Schuessler, son of John Herman and Ida Wilhelmina Jordan Schuessler, was born on February 24, 1925 and died on April 15, 2019. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, 4 sisters--Frances Mae Schuessler Schmidt, Johnita Pearl Schuessler Bohmfalk, Ruth Alice Schuessler, Virginia Marie Schuessler and 1 granddaughter. John spent his life as a rancher in Mason County on the Llano River near Castell with his wife of 73 years, Dorothy Bauer Schuessler.
John L. Beam, son of General Pershing Beam and Cora Lee Martin Beam was born on May 14, 1957 and died on April 18, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents and two siblings. Iva Lee Baily and G. P. Beam, Jr. John lead a very adventurous life. He was an accomplished musician, a carpenter, a Naval veteran, biker, son, brother, uncle, husband, father, and grandfather. In 1978, John entered the Navy.
