The Americans with Disabilities Act signed in 1990 was a major stepping stone in ensuring equal rights to all Americans with disabilities. The act details guidelines for every public area that needs to provide with ample accessibility options for the disabled. Parking and related areas are also taken into proper consideration.

The Friends of the Llano Library Historic Cemetery Tour last week was a success. We appreciate all the performers for their magnificent jobs representing the six families. Also,we appreciate all the tour guides and helpers that set up the tour, led the tours, took care of the front desk and helped with the tear down after the tour.
“Don’t cross me off your list,” Bitsy wrote in an email over the summer.
Despite many health issues, Karylon Hallmark Russell, better known to most as Bitsy, was determined to return to writing her weekly historical column for the paper. She hadn’t written a column since the end of May, and she was ready to get back to writing.

As a member of Texas Baptist Men Retiree Builders I want to express my gratitude and appreciation to the many people who helped make our work at the Llano Christian Academy a good experience. We also had members of Volunteer Christian Builders who teamed up to help convert the old nursing home into a useful school building.
Our needs were met in excellent ways. The meals and snacks were cheerfully and bountifully provided.

They do not train them to have manners, not to steal, to respect others and other’s property.

The Llano Library will be spending the week of Oct. 15-21 celebrating its Friends of the Library group as part of the 12th annual celebration of National Friends of Libraries Week.
