I’ve written this before, but my attacks were on Texas and Texas Tech. I didn’t like the Longhorns wearing black on the basketball court, and I really didn’t like seeing Tech in all that gray in football.
I’ll bet Chris Christie will get back into the GOP presidential-nomination race and then beat Hillary Clinton, before Texas wears black at DKR Texas Memorial Stadium.
At Monday’s city council meeting Larry Cook received a gift bag and a certificate of appreciation for his ten years of service at the Llano Airport. Mayor Mike Reagor also mentioned Joanne Davis, who was not present, for her 15 years of service.
Citizen Ervin Light rose to speak in support of the city employees.
The 2nd annual Llano Earth Art Festival (LEAF) and Rock Stacking World Championship Competition will take place March 11-13, 2016 at Grenwelge Park in historic downtown Llano, Texas on the banks of the Llano River.

Rosin up those bows, folks, because Llano Fiddle Fest Weekend is coming back to Llano April 1st through 3rd! The featured event will be the 39th Llano Open Fiddle Contest. This event has become one of the top fiddle contests in the state of Texas and will be held on Saturday, April 2nd at the historic LanTex Theater.
