The Llano City Council on Monday approved final financing to build a pro shop and maintenance building at the golf course, which includes a small mandated bump in taxes.

Llano Independent School District held ceremonies at Llano Junior High School and Llano High School on Thursday and Friday nights.
At the Junior high School, 135 8th grade students walked the stage on Thursday night as they received their promotion to 9th grade and on to Llano High School.

The first Llano High School Hall of Fame class was announced in 2002 and a hall of fame class has been announced yearly since then. There are three categories for the hall of fame - individuals, team and humanitarian.
Criteria for the individual award is an LHS graduate age 40 years or older, or someone who has been deceased for at least five years.
