Cade Thomas Goodwin, 34, of Brownwood, passed away Friday February 19, 2021. A Celebration of Cade’s life service will be held at 10 AM, March 6, 2021 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel, 303 Early Blvd., Early, Texas. Cade was born May 5, 1986 at Brownwood Regional Hospital in Brownwood, Texas to Jesse and Nina Goodwin.
Joyce Faye McManus, 78, passed away February 13, 2021 in Stonewall, TX. Joyce was born in Baton Rouge, LA, on April 24, 1942 to Edgar Van Osdell and Lillie Elizabeth Rushing. She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Jo McManus; brother, Edward James Van Osdell; and sister, Katherine Elizabeth Lewis. Joyce is survived by three sons, Chuck Raborn and wife Yvette, Robert McManus and wife Carol, and Rodney McManus and wife Diana; brother, Donald Ray Van Osdell; and sister, Jan Brown.
Mrs. Hardin Wunderlich nee Rosie J. Sheppard of Sandy passed away on Wednesday, February 3rd at the age of 79 years. Rosie J. Sheppard was born on June 21st, 1941 in Cleveland, Liberty County, Texas to Rayburn Forrest and Norma Jean Nettles Sheppard She married Hardin Wunderlich on December 31st, 1980 in Burnet, Texas Mrs.
Jimmy Curtis Moldenhauer, born to Chester and Hilda Moldenhauer on November 16th 1945 in Fredericksburg, Texas. Passed on Sunday Feb 7,2021. Jimmy grew up farming and ranching in the Post Oak community. He graduated from Johnson City High School and moved away to pursue careers including welding, fabrication, and as a mechanic.   He was an avid outdoorsman and craftsman.

Yvonne Grace Wegenhoft Leonard, 88, passed peacefully with her daughter Janice Fox, by her side, surrounded by love and prayers from her family, in Johnson City, Texas. She went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. Yvonne was born on June 22, 1932, in Rock Island, Texas. Yvonne, affectionately known as “Danny” was a pioneer for change when women’s roles were evolving, and she did it with grace by supporting family values and honoring traditional roles.
Alan Louis Dean, BA, M. Ed. passed away peacefully from COVID-19 on January 26, 2021 at the age of 73 in Johnson City, TX. Alan was a consummate teacher, cook, musician, mentor and friend. His thirst for knowledge was endless and his ability to motivate others and pay his expertise forward was remarkable.
Donald Dale Linder entered the gates of heaven on January 29, 2021, surrounded by those that loved him most. He was born in Austin, Texas on January 14, 1944 to parents Dale and Isabelle Linder.  He was a loving husband to Virginia Lee Joy, the love of his life. On February 1, they would have shared their 58th wedding anniversary. Donald met Virginia at Henly Baptist Church in 1956 where Don’s dad was the pastor.  They married on February 1, 1962 and settled in Henly on the Joy Ranch.  ...

Flora Maxine Cox, age 95, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Harrison. The daughter of Andy Burton Knapp and Cora (Heeter) Knapp was born on February 1, 1925 in Sturkie, Arkansas. Flora started teaching when she was 21 years old and taught business education in Johnson City and Borger, Texas for 39 years.
