Mr. Greg Schumann of Albert passed away on Saturday, June 19th at the age of 62 years. Marlin Gregory “Greg” Schumann was born on March 30th, 1959 in Blanco, Texas to Marlin Rudy and Johnnie Mae Kneupper Schumann. George F. Gott passed away peacefully Saturday, June 5, 2021, at home in Round Mountain, Texas. He was born October 23, 1935, in Pershing, Iowa to Kenneth Gott and Mae (Perron) Gott. George went to many schools growing up. He acquired many life skills and talents along the way that would prove to be useful throughout his life.

On May 30, 2021, Jarrell G. Sultemeier, Sr. passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family and friends.  In addition to Jarrell’s devotion and service to Marble Falls First Baptist Church, Jarrell served in the United States Air Force for 27 years, earning 2 bronze medals during the Vietnam war. He is survived by his wife, Patsy; sons, Nick Sultemeier and wife Juanita, Jarrell Sultemeier, Jr.
Dear Editor, In regard to Ms. Welch’s letters to the Editor in both JC and Blanco papers, I found it interesting they were not the same in a profound respect. In the letter to the Blanco paper, she said the vote canvassing at the county elections office in last November’s election, was not done in a timely manner and accused those good folks (some of them volunteers) of ‘careless leadership’ along with not complying with state election laws.
George Stanley Weik, known to us as Stan, was born October 10, 1949 in San Antonio, Texas. Stan left this world to go home to our Lord on May 14, 2021. Throughout his years, he lived in many areas of Texas, but he called San Saba home where he served as City Manager since December 2007.

Kenneth Dale “Kenny Dale” Shotwell, 71, of Johnson City, Texas passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021. He was born on August 3, 1949, in Houston, Texas to the late James Howard and Betty Jo Shotwell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Cecilia “CeCe” Mathews and his older brother Jimmy Shotwell. Kenny Dale grew up in Humble, Texas where he went to school and played little league and football.
