The Blanco Good Samaritan Center’s thrift store will be open Thursdays starting Oct. 1.
Hours will be noon to 6 p.m., each Thursday, while donations of household items will be accepted from noon to 5 p.m. that day.

Dr. Craig Manifold, who was appointed the local health authority for Blanco County last March once the COVID-19 pandemic hit, died unexpectedly.
