BANDERA—It was a fast and furious first quarter. The Jackets had a couple of trick plays and gained command.

BANDERA--The Llano High Jackets scored eight points in the first 17 seconds of the game, Friday night, and went on to beat Crystal City, 42-26, in the bi-district round of the Class 4A, Division II football playoffs.
Llano, which led 29-20 at half, never trailed.
The Jackets (4-7) will meet unbeaten Sinton in the area round, Friday, Nov.
This month, Llano Christian Academy announced the beginning of a campaign to raise funds for their new eight million dollar campus. The building project and capital campaign, which is being called Putting Down Roots, is a big step for the school and its students.

You can tell the landscape looks like diamonds now and will soon be back-to-back jewels behind the buildings at Llano High School. They are the new softball and baseball fields, creating an on-campus look for the first time.
