Texas ranked 39th in the nation in deer collision claims. State Farm estimates insurers will receive 52,000 deer collision claims in the Lone Star State in 2015. After working together for months to create new preliminary flood maps, officials from the city of Llano and Llano County, as well as the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) now want to hear from the public. Homeowners, renters and business owners in these three counties are encouraged to review the preliminary flood maps to understand where flood risks have been identified.

Dear Editor, How the City of Llano spends the money we pay into it sometimes looks quite unclear. Here are two city expenses that don’t look clear, but affect my small neighborhood: (1) Council approved an agenda item to spend $58,000 to clear an alley. Before the vote, Councilman Todd Keller stated that was more money than the surrounding land is worth.

Open for hospital admissions (for pneumonia, chest pain, infections, dehydration, etc.) just like we have always been. Open for colonoscopy (lower scopes). Open for EGD (upper scopes).
