Rosie Lee Kunkel, 79, nee Lindig, of Johnson City and formerly of Stonewall, died Friday, April 13, 2018. Rosie was born May 2, 1938, the daughter of Eugene Andrew Lindig and Annie Pearl Schu-mann Lindig. She married Kurt Weinheimer on Dec. 22, 1957, in Trinity Lutheran Church, and after their divorce, she married Raymond Lee Kunkel on June 26, 1971.

Richard Lee Sullivan (1939 – 2018) Richard was born on September 11, 1939 and passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018. Richard was a resident of Kendall County, Texas at the time of passing. He served his country in the U. S. Air Force from 1958-1962. Richard worked at Nasa for several years on the Apollo program and truly enjoyed the work.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Wilson Carpenter; her son, Travis Carpenter; and her brother, R.B.

Bobby George Sewell, age 79, of Stonewall, TX was born August 16, 1938 in Johnson City, TX. He was a resident of LBJ Medical Center in Johnson City when he went to meet his Heavenly Father on March 10, 2018. Surrounded intermittently for the last two weeks of her life by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, Opal Hogan Topper went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2018. She was born on July 5, 1928, the second oldest of eleven children. Hers was a humble lifestyle. She loved the Lord.

Cora Byars, 69, of Johnson City, Texas entered into eternal rest on January 20, 2018 surrounded by family. Cora was a long time resident of Johnson City, Texas. She volunteered her cooking and baking expertise for the local Fire Department and other local clubs assisting in their fundraising. Cora was an avid animal lover and never let any cats, birds, deer, or dogs go by her residence without trying to feed and take care of them.

Leland Lewis “Steve” Stevenson passed away December 22, 2017, in Lockhart Texas. He was a proud 98-1/2 years old. People often remarked that he was the nicest man they had ever met. This beloved gentleman was the rock and the heart of his family. Leland was born May 25th, 1919 in Johnson City, Texas, to John Sidney Stevenson and Bessie Sewell Stevenson.
Patricia Ann Tanner Percival, 84, passed away on October 23, 2017 at her home in Wimberley, Texas. Pat was born March 10, 1933, on the family farm in Katy, Texas. After graduating from Robert E. Lee High School, in Baytown, Texas, she pursued a career in modeling while attending college for Fashion Design. All who knew Pat were well aware of her sincerity, wisdom, compassion, talent and time for others.
