May 23, 1953 – June 14, 2019
Tommy Lee Lewis 66 years of age passed from this life Friday June 14th 2019. Tommy was born May 23rd 1953 in Levelland Texas to Lee and Jo Lewis. He graduated from Morton High School in 1971 and attended Amarillo Bible College and South Plains College. Tommy worked as a technician at American Cotton Growers for many years, he was a member of the First Baptist Church where he was active in the food bank ministry and a long time member of Noon Lions Club.
MAMOU— Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou on Friday, May 24, 2019, for Dinny Ethan Hawkins, 75, who passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019 in Lafayette, LA. Reverend Brian Johnston will conduct the funeral service. Dinny Ethan Hawkins was born in Shreveport, LA on January 5, 1944 to his parents Ethan Amon Hawkins and Viola Christine Harty.
MALCOM CAREY SMITH died peacefully at home on June 2, 2019, surrounded by love. For many, Malcom was the slender man they would see walking everywhere. His kind blue eyes and gentle smile were memorable, but he was a modest man who avoided bringing attention to himself. Malcom was born on August 27, 1943 in Austin to Magus Fulton Smith, Sr.
Horace Hale Perry, 86, of Johnson City passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2019, at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Marble Falls, Texas. Horace was born on April 23, 1932, in Austin, Texas to Della Mae Ross Perry and Horace H. Perry, Sr. He was a retired plumber and musician who played for various artists such Ray Price and numerous other celebrities.
Born in Austin Texas to Virginia Holland Laird and Langston Smith in the old Seton Hospital, Pat was raised in Tarrytown and he attended a private kindergarten, then Pease Elementary, University Junior High, Schreiner Military School and graduated from Austin High in 1954. Austin was a typical small town in Pat’s childhood, and he enjoyed living in Tarrytown (the county back then) where his family had some acreage.
James Ross Leonard, 89, was surrounded by his family in Johnson City, Texas and went to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 9, 2019. James Ross was born on September 18, 1929 in Austin, Texas. He wanted “to live long enough to watch the Final Four Championship” on Monday and his family cheered for Texas Tech with him.
W. L (Pat) Smith was born in Austin Texas to Virginia Holland Laird and Langston Smith in the old Seton Hospital. Donald Duane Green, 85, passed away at his home on March 28, 2019. He was born in Hamlin, Texas on April 26, 1933 to Edward Wade and Lila Belle Green. When he was little, he was given the nickname Sugar by his mother, because she said he was so sweet.
September 9, 1944 – July 29, 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of Lester Jacoby announces his sudden passing at his residence in Mountain Home, TX on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at the age of 73. Lester was born September 9, 1944 at home in Hye, Texas to Wesley and Mary (Schaefer) Jacoby. He carried his love of fishing and hunting with him throughout his life, and shared his passion with his kids and grandkids.

Lynn’s father called her his “little ray of sunshine” and that truly described Lynn. She loved painting and drawing, photography, decorating and any sort of crafts and creating. She was dedicated mother to her children and truly perfected herself as Grandmother, spending many hours watching and listening to recitals, baseball, softball and basketball games.
