The Blanco County Commissioners Court was called to order at 9:00 a.m. with Judge Brett Bray and Commissioners Tommy Weir, Emil Uecker, Chris Liesmann, and Paul Granberg present. The minutes of the prior meeting were approved. Next the court reviewed the line items. On January 20, 2020, at approximately 5:38 p.m. an auto versus pedestrian accident was reported to Blanco County 911.  The crash occurred in the 500 block of US HWY 281 South, in front of El Charro Mexican Restaurant.  Initial reports from a witness advised that a male and female walked across US Hwy 281 from the Road Runner RV Park and were struck by a black Ford F-150 Pick-up truck that was traveling southbound.
If you've been by the Sauer-Beckmann Living History Farm at LBJ State Park lately, you've noticed a new resident in the cow pasture. This Hereford bull is visiting from LBJ National Park. Though you can usually see him at the show barn at the LBJ Ranch, he is temporarily at the farm to breed one of the dairy cows.

The CRC to Serve as a Hub for Agencies Serving Blanco County Residents
The Blanco County Community Resource Center, located at 206 S. Highway 281 in Johnson City, is set to open for business on Monday, Feb. 3.
