The Blanco County Commissioners Court was called to order at 9 a.m. by Judge Brett Bray. The four commissioners: Tommy Weir, Emil Uecker, Chris Liesmann, and Paul Granberg, were present. There were no public comments at this time.
The commissioners approved the minutes of the previous meeting.
There were four line item transfers.
Mayor Rhonda Stell distributed COVID-19 care packages to local businesses over the past week. The packages included hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes and signage for mask reminders.
The packages were purchased by the City of Johnson City using COVID Relief funding at Johnson City Health Mart pharmacy.
Three city government positions and three school board seats are open for election in Johnson City, which is programmed for May 1, 2021.
The terms of office for the Mayor and two Councilperson positions will expire. The Mayor and Council are selected Citywide by Johnson City residents registered to vote.
The seats up for election are currently fulfilled by Mayor Rhonda Stell, Councilwoman Pat Dildine, and Councilman Shelton Young.

Board President Shelly Wenmohs called the regular meeting of the JCISD Board to order on January 11, 2021 at 6:03 p.m. in the LBJ Elementary Cafeteria. A quorum was established with six members present. There were no public comments.
January is School Board Appreciation month, and the Board was recognized and honored for their service.
