A gentleman who never knew a stranger, Brent Thurman grinned his way through life. Some have remarked that they have never known another person who liked to smile as much with their front teeth missing. Not only was Brent a world-class champion bull rider, he was a motivator of life.
Thurman was born in Austin, Texas on March 3, 1969 into a family of Central Texas supporters.

Excitement is in the air as things are really gearing up for the upcoming 112th Annual Kendall County Fair. The Fair will be held Labor Day Weekend and will have the Queen’s Court crowning on Thursday, August 31.
The doors open at 5 pm on Friday, September 1 and there will be all day entertainment in the form of music, magic and ventriloquist acts, and all sorts of activities through Sunday, September 3.
Saturday morning will be the annual Fair Parade through downtown Boerne.
