James Emil Meurer, 88, of Blanco passed away on Monday, Sept. 18, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Visitation was held Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017, from 3 to 5 p.m., with Rosary at 5 p.m. at Crofts-Crow Funeral Chapel. Mass was held on Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, at 10 a.m.
Dominick Matthew Torti, at the age of 41, died on Sept. 1, 2017, in Batesville, Miss., while doing something that he loved—riding his motorcycle. Much to his chagrin, he lived in Whitfield, Miss., on the campus of a psychiatric hospital at the time of his death. Those who knew Dominick would not be surprised to find out that he eventually ended up at a psychiatric hospital, although ironically it was not because of mental instability but due to his wife’s job.

Bailey Lyn Moore of Blanco passed away on Saturday, Sept. 9th, 2017, at the age of 58. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 13, from 5-7 pm at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home in Blanco with a Memorial Service to be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 14 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Chapel.
Bailey was born on February 13, 1959 in Galveston, Texas, and was raised on a Ranch in Kendall County.
Marvin W. “Sammy” Flugrath, 88 of Blanco passed away Wednesday, Sept. 6,, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Visitation was Saturday, Sept. 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home in Blanco. Services were held Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Blanco, and burial followed with military honors in the Blanco Cemetery.
Mr. Michael “Mike” P. Cayce of Sisterdale passed away on Monday, August 28 at the age of 66 years.
Michael Prentice Cayce was born on February 12th, 1951 to John William Prentice “Pat” and Doris Jean Alsup Cayce.

Caroline Lou Du Bose, 87, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Caroline was born April 23, 1930 in LaGrange, TX to Ersken and Loine Ilse Robertson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert E. “Bucky” Robertson and Robert L.
Phillip Andrew Stovall, 68, of Blanco, TX passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in Marble Falls, TX. He was born October 15, 1948, in Visalia, CA to Clifford L. and Cola M. (Pritchard) Stovall.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Friday, August 11, 2017 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Blanco where funeral services will be held in the Chapel at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 12, 2017 with Pastor Jeff officiating.
On Wednesday August 2, 2017 Charline Koeppen Read of Johnson City Texas went to be with the Lord. Charline was born in Brenham Texas to Edward and Dorothy Wuenscher Koeppen on February 3, 1942.
Charline is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Dorothy, Brother Robert “Bobby” Koeppen and great grandson Matthew Sedlachek.
Charline is survived by husband George Clifton Read, daughters Deborah Sultemeier and husband Tommy, Sherry Conlon and husband Thomas L.
Benjamin Franklin Anderson, Jr. 83, passed away after a lengthy illness, Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at his home in Blanco, TX. He was surrounded by his family. Per his wishes, private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Hattie Lou Sultemeier was born January 2, 1925. She passed into her heavenly reward peacefully on Sunday evening, July 30, 2017. Hattie was the 8 of 10 children. She grew up in Sandy, Texas.
Hattie married the love of her life, Joe Syd Fuchs, April 7, 1947. They spent their married life in Blanco, Texas, where Joe Syd and his family owned and operated the Blanco Locker Plant.
