Two desperate men are on the run in Blanco. They are guilty, to be sure, but not of the murder that they are accused of. Fortunately for all of us, it is fictional, and all the action is being captured in the name of entertainment for the four-part series Death and Compromise on Amazon Prime Video.

Blanco County has administered every last drop of the COVID-19 vaccine doses that were delivered to the county earlier this month, and now officials are awaiting the next shipment as cases continue to climb.

The Blanco County Commissioners Court was called to order at 9 a.m. by Judge Brett Bray. The four commissioners: Tommy Weir, Emil Uecker, Chris Liesmann, and Paul Granberg, were present. There were no public comments at this time.
The commissioners approved the minutes of the previous meeting. There were four line item transfers.

“Don’t Mess with Texas” (DMWT) is a widely known campaign with a simple message to not litter that started in 1986. The program is sponsored by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). There are many ways you can get involved including Adopt-A-Highway (AHA), “Report a Litterer,” and Trash-Off (TO).
This has been an unusual, different year. Let us hope and pray that this coming year is better.

No one had the Monday blues at the Henry House in Blanco earlier this week when residents and staff members who wanted the COVID-19 vaccine were able to receive it, thanks to the county’s EMS service. But the county is experiencing a delay in further shipments of the vaccine that’s very much in-demand.
