We would like to invite the community to join us for our 5th Annual Celebration & Fundraising Dinner to benefit the ministry of Mason Young Life! The dinner will be held at the Mason Community Building on Tuesday, September 27th starting at 6:30 p.m.
Guests are invited to enjoy appetizers, a prime rib dinner, and a delicious dessert while getting to hear more about what Young Life does in our community.
Teens in the Driver’s Seat is an organization that promotes safe driving in high schools throughout America. Mason High School has won third place in TDS Drive Home the Message contest, which includes a $500 dollar prize. We are hoping to win second or even first place this coming year.
The Mason TDS members put in countless hours planning and presenting activities to involve the whole school.
The Puncher Club is hosting complimentary weekly Varsity game film screenings every Tuesday at 6:30 PM during the football season at the Odeon. Screenings are approximately 45 minutes in length and provide a fantastic opportunity to relive spectacular plays or perhaps catch a game that you were not able to attend!
In their third outing for the 2016 football season, the Mason Punchers chalked up their second victory of the year by defeating the Comfort Bobcats 34-14 at home in Puncher Stadium.
The Punchers kicked off to Comfort to start the game, but in the first of three turnovers in the game, the Bobcats handed off control of the ball to Mason.
Micah Walker, CEA and Sheree Hardin, CEA have announced the date for this year's 4-H Enrollment meeting. 4-H enrollment will take place on Monday, September 19 from 5:30 to 7 pm at the Mason County Library. The library is located at 410 Post Hill St. The meeting is come and go.
The high school and junior high Punchers and Cowgirls competed in the Mason Invitational this past Wednesday. We had a total of 18 teams come in to town to compete, and overall, we competed very well!
The Cowgirls and Punchers would like to thank everyone who came out to the park and helped in any way, big and small.
7th vs. Comfort
The seventh graders began their season with a good start with a win over Comfort, 6-0. It was a defensive battle from the beginning kickoff to the last down. Gabriel Ortiz scored late in 2nd quarter on a 30 yard pitch play to give us a lead.
On September 7th, First Baptist Church Mason Youth Ministry kicked off the new school year with MUD Dodge ball! Middle school and high school students enjoyed getting muddy at the rodeo grounds and are excited about the growing Wednesday night youth program at FBC.
Starting this year, the Wednesday night youth group at FBC will be called C.R.E.W.

The Varsity Punchers started the meet off with Jackson Chapman and Blake Mclaughlin leading our pack each running a 22:55 and placing 39th and 40th respectively.
