Alex Howard Grosse was born February 4, 1925, on the best street in Mason, Rainey Street. His parents were Alex Egon and Alma Willmann, brother Billy Dick, and sister Jewel Grosse. He attended Mason schools and after graduating he joined the Navy. He served on the eastern U.S. coast during World War II.

Clifford was born on April 23, 1936 in Mason to A.N. "Gus" Parker and Ida Brawley Parker. He was raised in Mason and joined the Army in 1953 when he was 17. He made the Army his career and retired after 20 years of service.

Leroy was born in Tucumcari, New Mexico, on September 2, 1968, to Howard Sanders and Eddie Mae Small Sanders. Leroy was a 1987 graduate of Mason High School. For many years Leroy worked as a paint and body man repairing cars.
Mildred Evelyn Eckert Carder, 94, died peacefully in her sleep on November 25, 2015, at Patriots Colony in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Born July 31, 1921, in Mason, Texas, she is predeceased by her parents, Kinney Milton and Zilla Minnie (Wood) Eckert of Mason, Texas, and her husband, John Thomas Carder of Johnson City, Tennessee.
Survivors include her two sons, Patrick Carder (Sandra) of Williamsburg, Virginia, and Kinney Carder (Virginia) of Leesburg, Georgia.
