She married Gorman Beam on September 9, 1938. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and also her husband in 1998.

Nina Beatrice “Beady” Beam, a longtime resident of Killeen, TX, was born in Rosedale, Mississippi on January 6th, 1931. She departed this life for her heavenly home on February 20th, 2017.
Beady was born the 7th child of nine to Conyers Wilson Sosebee and Clatie Belzora Lum. During her teen years, Beady excelled in basketball and enjoyed playing the guitar.

Beven Eckert Memorial Library at 410 Post Hill Street on Tuesday, February 28th, at 6:00 P.M. in the Stribling Room.
