1957-2016
Thomas Ray Hutson passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016 in Llano, Texas at the age of 58. He was born June 6, 1957 in Roswell, New Mexico to Ruby Marie (Smith) and Connie Ray Hutson. He married Karon Tidwell on September 9, 1977 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Thomas loved hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Mildred Arlena Pelky passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 in Temple, Texas at the age of 81. She was born November 16, 1934 in Turkey Bend, Texas to Eula (Hall) and Curtis Brown Parker. Mildred married Phillip H. Pelky July 24, 1953 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She moved to the area in 1981 from Southern California.

Dorris Marie Cole, 92, of Fredericksburg and Mason, Tx, formerly of Sebastian, Tx, was born on October 28, 1923, in Patroon, Texas, to Quincy Tucker Chandler and Almira Eddins Chandler. Dorris passed away on February 20 in Fredericksburg. Dorris was the youngest of four children. Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers and sister, Earl Chandler, Thomas Chandler and Lucille Hanks. Dorris married “the love of her life”, Jesse Howard Cole, on December 20, 1941.
Eddie L. Eckert, Jr., of Mason, passed away on Friday, February 19, at the age of 79. Eddie is survived by two daughters Brenda Gibson and husband Gerald, of Mason and Barbara Pfeil and husband Roy of Mason, a half-sister Irene Thurman, 7 grandchildren: Eddie McBee and wife Penny, Kimberly Brown, Chris Gibson, Travis Eckert, Jaclyne Grosse, Royce Pfeil and Reece Pfeil, 8 Great-grandchildren: Shalla McBee, Austin Miller, Alexis Brown, Hannah Brown, Kadynce Bradley, Kyleigh Bradley, Rylee Bradley ...
Chelsea Lee Reeves Kuykendall, 27, of Kingsland, Texas passed away January 28, 2016. She was born to Rick and Candice (Carmack) Reeves on June 3, 1988 in Abilene, Texas. She grew-up in Fort Stockton and loved West Texas. Her hobbies were cooking but her favorite was being a wife and mother.

Ruby celebrated her 91st birthday on Friday, January 22, 2016.  On Wednesday, January 27, she passed away peacefully at Hill Country Memorial Hospital. Ruby was born at home in the Prairie Mountain Community.  She was the middle child to Albert and Bernice Birk.  She and her sisters Lorine and Vernell rode horseback or walked the four miles to attend school through the 8th grade. Maria Mercedes Halliburton was 68 and lived in Burleson, Texas. She passed on Tuesday the 12th of January 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born November 5, 1947 in Los Angeles, California to the proud parents of William and Anita Rodriguez. Maria married Richard Halliburton on July 6, 1969 in Hacienda Heights, California.
1933-2016
Weldon Seeliger, 82, died January 7, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born November 25, 1933, in Lockhart, Texas, to Alma Schulle and Ernest Seeliger. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sue Taylor Seeliger; son Tim Seeliger and his partner Brad Parman, all of San Antonio. Seeliger was graduated from Lockhart High School in 1952 where he excelled in all varsity sports.
