Over the years it has been called different things - Heritage Weekend and Wild West Weekend to name a few. It has been located on the courthouse square, in Grenwelge Park, last year in both, and this year, in the John L Kuykendall Arena.
The arena itself makes for a perfect location since it is covered and protected by the weather, which this past weekend saw cooler temperatures, for a while, rain, and then lots of sunshine.

Artists from all over the United States were in Llano on Friday night for the opening of Western Trappings on the Llano.
Now in its fourth year, the juried art show will continue daily until Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Llano County Historical Museum.

The City of Llano is now officially a ‘Texas Film Friendly Community.’
Kim LeBlanc of the Texas Film Commission, which is an office of the governor, gave a special presentation at Monday’s city council meeting to officially honor the city with the designation. (See presentation photo on page 13).
Llano joins 112 other cities across the state to earn the designation.
“It’s a select group, but it’s a growing group,” LeBlanc said.
As fall weather slowly and occasionally makes its way into Llano, Keep Llano Beautiful makes its debut Saturday with the Fall Sweep clean-up.
Those who are interested in helping beautify Llano at the clean-up should gather at 8 a.m. at the West Pavilion at Badu Park for trash bags and gloves and to get organized before heading out.
