The Logos Christmas musical at Lutie Watkins Memorial United Methodist Church was held Sunday night. Titled Christmas in Black and White, it told the story from the perspective of the animals. It involved 22 fifth and sixth graders and 15 second, third and fourth graders.
The annual Christmas Stroll became a drive on Wednesday night as cool, wet weather arrived in Llano. However, it didn’t dampen spirits as the singing began at First Presbyterian Church.

Five hundred years ago this month, an event happened that changed the course of the world. All are invited to attend an upcoming Seder Supper, a Christian version of the traditional Jewish Passover service at Grace Episcopal Church, 1200 Oatman, on Tuesday, April 4, at 5:30 p.m. Passover is the oldest and most important of Jewish religious festivals and marks the beginning of the Jewish religious year.
After serving 37 years in the ministry, including the last 27 and one half years as pastor at First Baptist Church, Llano, Bro. Rick Cundieff will be retiring from Pastoral Ministry effective April 30, 2017. His last Sunday in the pulpit in Llano will be Sunday, April 2nd. To honor Bro.
The Llano Cowboy Church on Hwy 29 West will be hosting the Messiah in the Passover Demonstration on Sunday, March 12, from 6–7 p.m. in the fellowship hall building. The public is invited to attend. The Messiah in the Passover will be conducted by Jim Fox of the Chosen People Ministries. The presentation is a vivid and exciting demonstration showing how Jesus fulfilled the ancient feast of Passover.
